When making a booking with any property within this site, you are accepting the following Terms & Conditions.

Bookings are made either from Saturday to Saturday or Sunday to Sunday, depending on the property.

The properties will be available from 4.00pm, and we ask that visitors vacate the properties by 10.00am on the day of departure.
 This is to allow time to prepare the house for the next guests.
Arrangements can be made on request if this does not suit.

Upon confirmation of a firm booking, we will require an initial deposit of 25% of the letting fee. 
This is to cover for any cancellation that may arise by the booking party.
The remaining sum will be required 8 weeks prior to the letting period.

Please note, any monies paid within the final 8 week period will not be refunded if a cancellation on the guests part is made.  

Linen and Towels are included in the price.

In the unlikely event that a property becomes unsuitable or unavailable for letting through circumstances
 beyond our control once bookings have been taken, we reserve the right to cancel bookings for the property.
 In this case, all monies will be reimbursed.

A damage\security deposit ranging from £250 to £500 depending on the property booked, and size of party,
 will also be required either when sending the remaining balance, or 1 week before the start of your booking..
This is to cover for any damage or breakages that may occur during the stay, and also for any exceptional
 additional cleaning that may be required, if the property is left in an unacceptable condition.
Normally, this will be returned (in full\part) within 7 - 14 days after the letting period is over.

Any disputes for damages are to be taken directly with the owners.
Dordogne Retreats cannot be held liable for any loss of monies due to any disputes with property owners.

We would recommend that a comprehensive Travel Insurance is taken out when travelling abroad,.
Most have cancellation cover, which may recover any non refundable monies, 
as well as cover for any personal injury arising during the holiday.

Sub-letting or exceeding the property's maximum occupancy without the prior consent of the owners, is forbidden.

All guests are requested to have the properties left in a clean and tidy condition on the day of departure.

Sorry, no pets allowed.
